Why do we pray? We pray in order to enter into a conscious awareness of
Spiritual Presence and loving care. We pray for
others because we care about them and know that through prayer we can be of
help.
When do we pray? Anytime. However, prayer after meditation is particularly
wonderful.
What is prayer? Prayer is a sincere and humble request to God, an affirmation
of God’s nature and loving presence, or an expression of praise and
thanksgiving. Prayer often becomes a deep meditation and communion with one’s
Creator.
